Now is the time for true progressives to go on the offensive. If we want to keep Berkeley a place that we can all call home, we need to change the balance of power on the City Council.
Councilmember Kriss Worthington and Rent Board Slate-mate James Chang on the steps of City Hall
That is why the Pro-Rent Control Slate (chosen at July’s Tenant Convention) is focusing our campaign on the contested council districts, and asking renters to support the Council candidates endorsed by our slate and the Berkeley Tenants Union: Alejandro Soto-Vigil, Jesse Arreguin, Kriss Worthington and Jacquelyn McCormick.
Tenants & landlords will mobilize for the Slate and Kriss Worthington at Noon on Saturday October 18 and Sunday October 19 at our shared campaign office at 2195 Bancroft (corner of Oxford and Bancroft).
This is the mobilization to come out to- Kriss has been a consistent progressive voice for all residents of Berkeley!
