Join Igor’s 32nd Annual Belated Birthday Bash and Rent Board Benefit

Dear friends,

This year, my birthday falls exactly a month before our historic November 8 election. Please come join me, eat, drink, and be merry at what may be my one Berkeley fundraiser this year.

In lieu of gifts, I’m accepting donations of any amount (between $5 and $250) to support my U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders-endorsed candidacy and that of my progressive Christina, Alejandro, Leah and Igor: Vote CALI Slate for Rent Board 2016 Rent Board slate. You may contribute online to any or all of our candidates at www.berkeleyrentboard.org/donate, bring a check with you, or bring cash in the amount of no more than $49.99.

Thank you for joining me at this exciting and fun event and helping me raise enough for the final stretch ahead!

Gratefully yours,
Igor

Democracy for America endorses CALI Slate!

CALI Slate is proud to announce Democracy for America’s endorsement for Berkeley Rent Board! “The CALI Slate candidates will champion the needs of working families, students, and seniors and find progressive, effective solutions to Berkeley’s housing crisis.” Furthermore, DFA has the following to say about individual candidates:
“Christina Murphy is an experienced housing advocate who knows how to provide supportive services to combat housing challenges. Christina is a voice for the voiceless, and will be outspoken voice for all on the Berkeley Rent Board.”
“Alejandro Soto-Vigil is an experienced public servant and leader who has fought for tenants’ rights for over 10 years. Alejandro fearlessly fights for big policy reforms and works to support and protect disenfranchised communities.”
“Leah Simon-Weisberg is one of the leading experts in rent control in California. On Berkely’s Rent Board, Leah will bring the expertise, the leadership, and the regional perspective needed to help California and Berkeley address its housing crisis.”
“Igor Tregub has a decade-long track record of success in advocating for tenants’ rights and creating housing for working families. Diplomatic yet relentless in standing up for tenants and small landlords, Igor is the fighter Berkeley needs on the Rent Board.”
